#CycleForMagpas – Our Fundraising Journey
As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, we have organised a special fundraiser for our current charity of the year, Magpas Air Ambulance.
Throughout the day on Friday 1st July 2016 our staff will be taking turns at cycling using two exercise bikes. Our target for the day is 80 miles – the distance between our three offices in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and Chelmsford.
3 miles – Collision between a lorry and two cars on the A14 near Bar Hill
42 miles – Schoolboy injured playing sports in Bury St Edmunds
60 miles – Man falls from tree in Braintree
80 miles – bicycle and van collision in Chelmsford
Donate now to help Magpas continue to bring A&E care to patients by land and by air.
We would like to give special thanks to One Leisure St Ives and Swavesey Village College, who have donated the bikes we are using for this event, So Scrumptious Cafe for providing a venue and support, and the Magpas team for their help with organising. Without their help, this day would not have been possible.
